The Koru has appointed Miss Aurora d’Orléans as Lord High Treasurer.
As the first officeholder, d’Orléans has the responsibilities of overseeing the operations of the Office of the Treasury and to advise the Koru on actions related to finances and the Treasury where it may benefit the state.
d’Orléans will also serve within the National Fiscal Commission, another provision of the Treasury and Economic Regulation Act, 2025.
The Office of the Treasury is a subbordinate office of the Koru’s Office.
